Gina Bjorvik:  

Life After graduation I stayed in Bend attended COCC and worked. In 1987 I moved to Ashland, where I attended Southern Oregon University, earning a degree in Marketing in 1990. After college graduation I traveled throughout SE Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia) with girlfriends. I moved to Portland in 1992 and worked at a stock brokerage firm until 1999. I married Erik Bjorvik (MVHS Class of 1988) in 1997. We welcomed our daughter, Meredith, in July 1999 and our son, Ryan, in November 2001. I love living in Portland, but miss Bend terribly everytime I go back for a visit. My husband's folks still live there, so we get to visit alot. My non-parenting activities include volleyball, softball, going to concerts and attending theater productions. UPDATE 12/26/07: Our daughter, Meredith, is now 8 and in the 3rd grade. Our son, Ryan, is now 6 and in Kindergarten. They both attend our neighborhood school in Portland, of which I was the co-chairperson for the annual auction in 2007.
