More about Gina Marie:"My favorite job is being a mother. I take great pride in this. I have been an ICU nurse for 30 years, I am currently a Professor of Nursing at Lakeland Community College. I also taught full time at CWRU and Ursuline. I "grew up" at Richmond General (from nursing assistant to assistant director of nursing). I wrote a book called Peace Management (now you know why I listed that as my favorite book!). This is a second marriage. I met my husband several years ago, while I worked at Richmond General. However, I was married at the time. While I was separated, a mutual friend got us re-acquainted. It is so nice to have a friendship at the base of a relationship!
My son is almost 17. He keeps me young and very active. I love being around kids of all ages. My retirement dream job is working at Eagleâs Nest at Giant Eagle. Go in to work a few hours a day and be with kids. That would be wonderful!
I love to travel and because of my schedule with teaching I am able to take about 4 big and a few small trips a year. I love being out of my comfort zone. That means that my comfort zone is always growing. At this point, because I have had this philosophy for so long, there is not much outside my comfort zone. And if I find something that is outside, as long as it is not dangerous or illegal, I am ready to expand the zone further.".
