Gina's Story

Life 20 years of life in 4,000 characters...Well, amidst the "awkward" pre-teen years growing up in suburban NJ, I graduated at the 8th grade graduation from Mt. Carmel (after dancing the Y dance to Cristopher Cross's "Sailing" at the 8th grade dance). From, there, I moved on to Holy Angels for high school, where I studied too much and wore an ugly plaid skirt with knee socks (what was that all about?). During this time, there was a memorable trip to Europe as well as an experience in the Band. In addition, I also had my braces removed as well as my appendix. This was followed by four crazy, very blurry years at Trinity College in Hartford, CT where I majored in English Lit, I believe. Too much fun to mention, but lots of great memories and good times with the Crow brothers and Kappa girls. Then, on a whim, I moved to Boston with my buddies Gaby, Willy, and Ima from Trinity. Worked in publishing for a few years, and met my soon to-be cutie husband Mike. Then, decided to go to graduate school, and went to Boston College, where I worked my butt off for two years, and graduated with an MBA, focusing on Marketing. Got married, then went into Banking as a Product Manager (fancy word for marketing/finance person). Worked at Baybank, then BankBoston, had a son (Andrew,...Expand for more
age 8), then worked at Fleet, had another son (Nicholas, age 6). Stayed home for awhile. Went back to work at Fleet, then it became Bank of America. Had another kid, this time a girl - Olivia - because there was just too much testosterone in our house! She is now 2 and I'm home with her at the moment. And I'm loving every second of it, because she is growing up too fast. You never believe it when an adult says this to you, but it really is true, they really do grow up very fast. (Hey, and wait a minute, I'm an adult, yikes!) Life has been very good to me and to all of the Tarallos, really, with the exception of a very sad moment in 2004, when we lost our Dad to an unwelcome, very surprising heart attack. Things have not been quite the same since and my sisters and I miss him very very much. On a happier note, he left us with lots of memories and wonderful days to remember. Speaking of good times, I remember lots of fun times with my Mt. Carmel friends, my AHA friends, and my Trinity friends (I didn't make tons of friends at BC because I was studying too much, but if you guys are reading this, you know who you are, and I miss you too!). I know I've lost touch with some of my old friends, so feel free to drop me an email anytime, I promise I'll write back. xxoo Gina
