Ginnebeth's Story

Life I moved from Stamford 21 yrs ago with my husband Wayne Sr. of 48yrs, to a home on the water in West Haven Ct. I have 2 grown children. Wayne is 46 yrs old graduated from Temple University & Sacred Heart University.with a B.S in exercise physiology & a M.S . in physical therapy.He obtained his doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2007 He now owns his own P.T. Practice in Milford & Stratford,Ct. Tara is 44 yrs old graduated from Katherine Gibbs College with a degree in computer science.She is an Office Manager for an International Co. I have a grandaughter named Shaynna, who is 23 yrs old. I have been a nurse for 35 yrs.I have moved to Florida on the water 13 yrs ago and am now retired. I enjoy boating, fishing, shopping, traveling, and cruising. Life is good. When I was in High School I never new what the future would hold, like the rest of us. Now here we are. ure the moment. It passes all too quickly. Show Love to those you Love and cherish your time together, Seize the moment!! 2024 -My Life turned upside down! I lost my home & car from 2 hurricanes back to back in Florida. My granddaughter had to get us evacated . There was no communication due to the storms We were shoved back & forth from shelter to shelter. No way to communicate due to the storms. Finally my children were able to get us flights out back to CT. We arrived October 11, 2024. We stayed with my granddaughter. . Then on October 14th my husband Wayne became ill. Probably from something in the shelter. He had dementia for the last 8 yrs. Taken to Yale & was tested that he had Covid. Came home in the 20th . He passed away on October 24,2024. We were married 54 yrs. Losing my home was bad enough but then losing my husband is unbearable. Shelter to shelter
