Glen's Story

Life I've gone from College Station, to UNT to Hollywood. I've had the honor of working for people like Spielberg, but, now, it's Glen time! :) I'm preping my own film projects. Life is pretty good. As of 2004, I've moved to San Francisco. College I earned a BFA in photography from the University of North Texas and created a few animation classes. My fond memories are of Brent and Walter in the photo department, making a film with Victor Duncan, and finally, battling with the Student Union about 35mm projectors. Within a year after graduation, I became a full-time visual effects artist and animator with Steven Spielberg's Amblin. Today, while working in film, Glen is just a few credits away from earning his MFA while also producing and directing his first feature film. Workplac...Expand for more
e About a year after UNT, Glen was hired by Steven Spielberg's Amblin Imaging. He created visual effects and animation for television. Two years later, he found himself on the Academy Award winning VFX team of Titanic. With partners, Glen helped open Station X Studios in Santa Monica, a state-of-the-art visual effects studio. After three years, the company was sold and Glen started his own company, West 85th Digital. After working for himself for three years, Glen returned to Texas. He helped the start-up "Shady Villa Media" set up a production pipeline and then focused his efforts on writing original material. In 2004, Glen returned to the west coast and is activly prepping a feature film. His plan is to win three Academy Awards, to become a master storyteller, and start thinking family.
