Glenda's Story
2012
It's been a long time since I have check on Classmates; mostly because I was just too busy enjoying life! I now have a little more time since I retired from Long Beach Unified School District on July 31, 2012! I have been blessed to fall in Love again with a wonderful man, Greg Scott. We were married April 30, 2011. Life is really good for us. We are buying a house in Cerritos and will be moving there in November.
I am hoping to have more time to get reconnected with old friends.
Life 2007

st keep working - I find I do much better keeping busy, especially since Ron died. I'm making efforts to keep in contact with old friends and developing new friends through my church singles group. I've been taking ballroom dancing classes - West coast swing, salsa, cha cha etc. Our singles group is always planning fun activities. It's kinda of like being back in high school! April '07 I took a tour to the UK - England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales with a widowed friend of mine. It was wonderful learning about my ancestory and history dating back to B.C! (I never really liked history in school - Seeing history in person is such an eye opening experience.) My next trip I'm planning is to Washington, D.C. in April 2008. I feel I need to learn more about our U.S. history before I travel out side the U.S. again.
