Glenn's Story
Life
Hi,
This bio is aimed at predominately at my high school classmates. I am living and working in Calgary, Alberta. From CUC, as we called it then, I went to Walla Walla College in Washington state, for a degree in Chemistry and then on to Loma Linda University Medical School in Southern California. After an internship in a Los Angeles Hospital I specialized in anesthesiology back at the Loma Linda University Medical Center and then for 18 months at Foothills Hospital in Calgary. I completed my training in December 1983.
I worked at the University of Alberta Hospital for 4 and a half years and was involved in the heart transplant program when it first started up there. I have been working in Calgary since 1...Expand for more
988 at the former Calagary General Hospital and now at the Peter Lougheed Hospital.
My first marriage ended in 1995 and I remarried in 2000. I have one daughter age 11 and 3 step children in their 20's. At present I am quite involved with the Alberta Medical Association as a member of its negotiating team and in membership on some committees. I am also quite involved in medical leadership in the city of Calgary.
I enjoy sailing, travelling, and fine dining. My wife, Dalyce, manages my practice and helps me maintain balance in my busy life.
