Glenn's Story
Currently working as an attorney in the Chief Counsel Office of the IRS in DC. Prior to that, I was a partner at one of the "Big 4" accounting firms, until a serious illness in 2012 (cardiac amyloidosis and an associated stroke) forced me into early retirement. Spent most of the past 40 years identifying myself as a cyclist, commuting by bike 40 miles,l each day,round trip, rain, shine, snow or ice. Also became an "ancienne" in 1999, 2003 and 2007 by completing a 3 day 1200 kilometer (760-ish miles) bike race across western France...Expand for more
. Also became a father three times in 1981, 1988 and 2000. Married Debi Moyer in 1978, but she passed away from breast cancer when we were living in LA in 1994. I subsequently moved to Virginia with my two older kids, remarried in 1997 to LeeAnn, a journalist/ producer at CNN when I met her at a dude ranch in 1994 who had a young child at the time (now 22), who we raised together, then had one of our own. She was a life-saver- literally- when I went down in 2012. We now live happily in Northern Virginia with our youngest , now 15
