Glenn's Story
Hey friends,
The best way to correspond with me is Facebook. I highly recommend it as a social media for grown ups.
Some of you might remember me as the shy kid at Yoncalla elementary or River Road in Eugene who was pretty invisible. Some of you knew me at Yoncalla junior high or North Douglas high in Drain as the runner. At Boise Bible College for a time I was the boy preacher and guitar player who married a local girl with an unusual name. In seminary in Illinois at Lincoln I was in the library a lot and cooked short order or ran a donut counter at nights or weekends. We started our family in Lincoln.
We've been in Vancouver, WA since 1987 when I finished school. Jaron and I have been married 30 years, Dec 18th, 2011 (months in the future at this writing). Our kids are all grown. Our youngest is 18 and will start college sometime in the next year. Today we are learning to drive.

and out of the weather every day. When work is done I correspond with my friends on Facebook and then generally sometime pick up a guitar (there are 7 to choose from). Currently I'm in two bands professionally as well as playing often for church services at New Heights church . My main band is the Kate White Band . We've been together nearly 8 years and have toured regionally (Alaska to N. California). I play guitar, sing parts, and help arrange songs. Its an acoustic band with "a mission from God," to borrow a phrase. My hobby band is a hard core bluegrass band called Barnyard Ruckus. I just joined this year so we'll see if they still like me in a few months. So far its fun and fulfilling in a different way than the other band. I sing more leads and play more solos. I'm the new guy so I also take a lot more orders.
