Glenn's Story
Life
My Spouse
I met my wife while stationed in Japan on the USS Independence on a port visit to Otaru, Japan. She wanted a tour of the ship and I needed a translator for the group I was giving a tour. She agreed and we hit it off after talking alot.
My Kids
My daughter Rachelle (pronounced Rachael) is a beautiful, smart, happy 8 year old daughter.
My youngest daughter Mariko (Ma Ree Ko) is energetic, loving and always wanting to be dressed up like a lady of fashion is a strict and sassy 5 year old.
My Job
I'm a Chief Petty Officer and right now am transfering from the USS Kitty Hawk in Japan to Washington, DC where I will be teaching leadership to enlisted sailors for 3 years. Life will be alot more relaxing than being onboard a...Expand for more

Military
I attended boot camp at Great Lakes Recruit Training Command located on the outskirts of Chicago from May-July 1995.
I went from there to NATTC Millington, TN until Feb 1996 where I learned basic aviation electronics. Following that school I went to NAS Miramar for Radar school for 2 months and finally transfered to the USS Independence (CV 62) in Yokosuka, Japan.
I spent 3 years on the Indy before transferring to the USS Kitty Hawk and spent about 1 year there.
After the Kitty I went to Calibration school and then to NAS Fallon, NV for 3 years of much needed shore duty running a Cal Lab.
After Fallon we transferred back to the USS Kitty Hawk in Japan which I am presently stationed.
