Glenn's Story

Let's see... I played a lot of golf and tried to do anything but work. I spent all of my graduation money and I managed to attend a semester of college in MN and decided I needed to get the hell out of there so, I moved to Phoenix, AZ ('89). I attended ASU for 2 years and then decided that I wanted to pursue a Biochemistry degree but, ASU did not have that degree specialization at the time so I decided to move back to MN and go to the U of MN ('93) to get it. I was in MN for two years and graduated in '95. Also, during the summers I thought it would be a good idea to join the Army National Guard so, I spent both summers in active-duty training in the deep south (not fun!). f training and with a degree in hand, I decided I wanted abandon the cold again and move back to AZ. I also enrolled at ASU in the Chemical Engineering program and two years later I had another degree ('88). During that time I started working full-time at an R&D Medical startup company called Instrumentation Metrics. They had the lofty goal of revolutionizing the regimen of care for diabetics by inventing a non-invasive blood glucose monitoring system. I say lofty as it proved to be unattainable at the time and I left the company in 2000 (with my name on a number of patents though...). During this time the .com bubble was in full-effect so I took my skills out and applied them... more to come ;-)
