Life
Here I am in New Mexico, retired from a career in financial management & computer information management for the Army Corps of Engineers. My two grandchildren, daughter & 2 sons live in Santa Rosa, CA . My youngest son, Charlie, was recently married in Cabo San Lucas. I've traveled mostly around the USA, Canada, Mexico, Central America, Europe & SE Asia. I travel across the USA &, Mexico & Canada as a private pilot and do my own maintenance work on my Mooney airplane. Favorite destinations are the West Coast, Oshkosh WI and the Baja in Mexico. I play golf, & work on sports cars & motorcycles, ski in NM, Utah & Colorado, & ski instruct at Pajarito Mountain ski areas (Los Alamos, NM). An interest of mine is flying, & in 1992, I set World and National Aviation Speed Records with my modified Mooney aircraft.
Life is good! I love New Mexico, with its dry climate & clear blue skies about 95% of the time. Also love the red & green chili which is scrumptious! Skiing is great in Colorado & New Mexico- with dry powder snow ...Expand for more
being the norm. I've taken multiple motorcycle trips on my Gold Wing thruout Oregon, Wash., B.C., Calif. & Idaho, NM & Utah. Attended the 40th reunion of Centennial High School class of 1963, and reunion dinner in Phoenix in 2011. I live in Corrales, a small village just outside of Albuquerque near the balloon field where we have an International Balloon Fiesta with 800 balloons in Oct. each year. I bought a Northern New Mexico style home here, complete with old style tin roof. We usually don't get much snow in Corrales with less than 10" per year of rainfall, but did get 18" of snow in one day 3 years ago this winter! The year around golf here is great.

I liked school better than work, but I also liked playing baseball better than schoolwork!
Workplace
I worked for the Army and the Army Corps of Engineers for over 30 years. Now teaching skiing at Los Alamos, NM.
