Life
Married Bob Boots 11/64, divorced 6/75 - 3 children
Met Art Oliver 02/75 - he has 2 children, we married 11/80
Went to Syracuse University 1978-1980 - one of the best experiences of my life
We live in Cincinnati, now, but lived in Syracuse, NY for several years
I'm passionate about college football (SU, of course) and NFL games
Favorite teams: Bengals, Bills, Eagles, Broncos and Bret Favre
Love books, movies (romance, WWII), music
Only one child lives in the area - my daughter Holly Boots
I have one cat, Scooter
I miss NJ
I also like University of Michigan sports since Art got his bachelor's and master's degree in civil engineering.
I lost my youngest son, Brian Boots (my shining star) in 2016 to Multiple Myeloma. He was 45, and a year earlier his wife ...Expand for more
(3rd) gave birth to his only biological child, Faith Anne, who is the spitting image of her Daddy.
In 2018 I lost my best friend and soul mate. Art died of a heart attack and stage 4 prostate cancer.. I miss his presence every day.
June 2020 brought the death of my oldest sister - she was 93, and had been in ill health for a number of years.
My son, Rob, and his wife, JoHannah (another Cape May County girl!) are currently living with me. They both are seeking jobs. Hannah had already had an interview set up for the 4th of Jan. before they even came. They treat me like a queen. They live here without taking over the house, and in fact have done tons of things to make the house a real home.
My health has declined over the years, but I won't go into detail.
