Gloria's Story
Life
Hi!!!
Well, like most of our classmates, I was off and running after graduation. I spent sometime at C.O.S. and then enlisted in the Army Reserve Nurse Corps. I briefly worked for Galen College as an instructor, for a local pediatrician, and for Kiawah Delta. I was deployed to the Gulf for approximately 6 mos and, shortly after my return, moved to Dublin, Ca to work with a Defense Contractor. After 12 years, I was picked up by Pacific Gas & Electric; I'm currently assigned to work in San Francisco.
I met my husband during the first DoD contract and in 1996 we had our daughter. This year (2005) she'll be entering 4th Grade and while I'm not pressing for her to grow up, I look forward to watching her grow up. We live in Sto...Expand for more
ckton, with our many pets, and occasionally visit my family in Tulare. Rarely do I see anyone I went to school with; Tulare has changed.

School
I can't say I would want to do it all over again, but if given the opportunity I would change some things...I was socially inept.
College
I attended nursing school at the Academy of Health Science in San Antonio, Tx and trained at Brooke Army Medical Center. I had a blast, I met some really great people and began my transition into an adult (kind of, I had a long way to go). I traveled to San Antonio on business but it's not the same.
Military
LOVED IT!!! Would do it again.
