JEANNIE CARDINALE" Gloria Jean Rell Cardinale, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Palenville, New York passed away at age 73 on January 9, 2022 at her home in the arms of her loving husband, Frank. She was known as "Jeannie" to her schoolmates, family and friends. Jeannie was born July 17, 1948 in Catskill, New York, the daughter of the late Margaret Rell and John Hodor. She lived in Palenville, New York until 1969 when she moved to Tampa. Jeannie was predeceased by her beloved son, Frank Jr., who was the absolute light of her life and was taken away much too soon in August, 2021 by the COVID virus. She is survived by husband Frank to whom she was married for 53 years, grandson Rocco, sister Joan Lanuto of Catskill, New York, brother John Rell of Saugerties, New York (since deceased), and many dearly beloved and loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and father, sisters Marjorie "Midge" Hill, Barbara Rappolt, Judy Cosseboom, Claudette Skelton and brothers Charles Rell, Richard Rell, and Barry Rell.
