Gloria's Story
Life
GLORIA AND JERRY WARLICK happily married since 1971. Two grown children and 5 grandchildren.
School
Early school years for Jerry were in Alabama, Tennesse, Tulsa, & he graduated from Moore HS in 1967. Gloria attended Glenwood Elem & Jarman JH in Midwest City, Nicoma Park JH and graduated from Choctaw HS in 1967.
After Jerry graduated from Moore HS and Gloria graduated from Choctaw HS, they both went to Central State College and majored in music. They both graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Central State University in 1971 now called the University of Central Oklahoma. Gloria received her Master of Education degree in Music 1974 and 1993 in Library Media, at UCO.

worked as a libray media specialist, after completing library certification classes at the University of Central Oklahoma 1991-93. Gloria retired after 32 yrs of teaching in 2005. She worked for the Mid-Del School system at the time of her retirement. Jerry also retired after teaching 32 yrs in 2001. Jerry retired from Mid-Del Schools(Band Director)and still teaches private music lessons.

Jerry and Gloria both graduated with Music Education degrees, got married and started teaching in 1971. Jerry retired from Mid-Del Schools in 2001(Band Director)and still teaches private music lessons. Gloria taught for 32 years (library media and music). She retired from Mid-Del Schools in 2005. She is teaching private music lessons and tutoring in reading.
Gloria and Jerry have taught in Crescent, Oklahoma City and Mid-Del Public Schools during their career. Gloria also taught at Heritage Hall, a private school.
