gloria's Story
gloria is from Omaha, Nebraska. gloria's schools include Roosevelt High School.
I worked at KSO radio for six years until I met my husband, Larry Brodkey, and moved to Omaha where he practiced law. I was widowed in 2011 after a very happy 56+ year marriage, We worked together in his office and were involved in real estate ventures over the years. So I learned about managing businesses.
I have three children and four grandchildren but only one lives in Omaha...my daughter Sherry who teaches 4th grade in Omaha Public Schools. My oldest son is an attorney and mining engineer who currently lives in Chile. My younger son is a retail marketing consultant ...Expand for more
in Grand Rapids MI. His oldest son is studying aeronautical engineering at Purdue.
I am very active in local politics - currently the governor's campaign in Nebraska. I also worked in both of the Obama campaigns and met Michelle Obama in 2012. I have traveled to Canada, England and France and taken a cruise to Alaska. My life has been blessed with a wonderful family and friends and I have no regrets about the choices I have made.
I don't mind reminiscing about the good old days from time to time but I prefer to concentrate on the future! I would like to hear from any of you who may remember me - I am aware that many of my school friends are gone.
