Gordon's Story
Life
Hi - actually I am a graduate of Dixon HS, but because it was not listed, ClassMates suggested registering with the nearest town.
I completed college, worked for Burlington Northern Timber & Land as a forester; Bureau of Indian Affairs as forester, management analyst, administrative officer, superintendent, and now budget officer.
I have been married twice, divorced twice (currently single), and have one son who is seven-years old and a darling.
School
After graduating from Dixon HS in 1968 I tried unsuccessfully...Expand for more
to go to college. The good times won out and I quit in 1972, returning in 1975 to complete my Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Management at the University of Washington in 1977.
College
I returned to college in 1975 after maturing enough to see I did not want to stay in "grunt" jobs the rest of my life. The University of Washington's forestry school was a natural fit, and I started in Outdoor Recreation, completing my degree in forest management in 1977. I liked the rainy city (Seattle) and the people I met at U-Dub.
