Grace's Story
Hi, Pat, Judy, Julie, and everyone else,
I am too cheap to buy the upgrade so you will have to contact Judy or Norma to get my new e-mail address. What is new is this new computer notebook. Trying to learn how to use a computer at our age has got to rank up there on my list of 10 dumbest things I have ever done.
Well, it was born in Kent, went to Kent schools except for forth grade, and went to KSU. I have babysat including help raising my younger sisters plus friends' two boys. I worked in the Dean of Women's at KSU and worked at the Ben Franklin Stores Warehouse in Stow as a file clerk and small claims adjuster I got married in 1965 (Don Schmiedel, Stow Class of 1957), moved to Las Vegas, taught 26 ye...Expand for more
ars mostly half-time and mostly Kindergarten.
I had Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 1996-7 and a small stroke about the time Norma sent her e-mail to me. I hope I can communicate with you people now and your rr.oh or whatever. Our traveling has now turned out to be traveling all over the Las Vegas Valley going from one doctor to another but Pat and I both say that was are still here. I would love to travel more but it just can't be done anymore sadly.
I still sew a little, am starting to be able to garden a little more especially since it isn't so hot, trying to still organize our church history and scrapbooks, and watch mostly PBS. Old Kindergarten Teachers never die. They just ride away on the Dinosaur Train.
