Grace's Story

Life
I grew up on 15th St., NE, Wash., DC and it was a wonderful childhood; I went to Kingsman Elem School and my favorite teacher was a Mrs Scott, who taught the 6th grade; there was another teacher I was fond of and her name was Miss Telford but I can't remember what grade she taught, maybe the 3rd. ds and getting together to do our homework, it was a great neighborhood where everybody got along with one another, it was like a big happy family; then Jr. High came along and we went to Eliot Jr. High and then on to Eastern High. Later after graduation I worked for the FBI for 11 yrs and in between that time I married and had 3 lovely children, who grew up and had families of their own and now I have 6 beautiful grandchildren. I lived in Maryland for about 20 yrs and moved to VA for a short time and now I am retired from the USDA ( I went back to work after my children were grown) and live in a small town in WV; but all in all, I have had a great life and look forward to each and every day.
