Renee's Story
I have returned to the Springfield, Illinois area. I married the love of my life in 2016 and unfortunately he passed away 12/26/2019. I currently work for Christian Horizons as a Clinical Informaticist. I work from home 90%+ of the time with limited travel. My son, Jared has just started a new chapter in his life as an Army Military Police Officer. His wife and son have moved to his first duty station Fort Drumm, NY. Andrea continues to live in Greenwich, Ohio with my grandson and granddaughter. She continues to work as a Social Worker for a Nursing Home in Ohio. I am trying to find a new normal in my life with the loss of my husband and my son and his family moving away.

is the mother of my beautiful Grandson - Devon - 2006 and Granddaughter Ava Grace - 2015. He is certainly a joy in my life. He calls me NaNa (neigh-neigh) . They lived with me for the first 2 1/2 years of Devon's life and then moved back to Ohio. I sure do miss him but talk to him often. Jared has moved to North Carolina with his son Christopher 2014. Andrea just got married 5/15 in a beach wedding in Florida - it was great. I have 3 grandchildren that live quite a distance away.
After being divorced for 25 years, I will be tying the not again October 2016 to the love of my life - Scott Mapes. We have known each other for 41 years and found each other again. I am so excited that I have found a peace in my life.
