Grace's Story
Life
God is good. I love my job and the things that keep me busy. I am working as a nurse practitioner and finding it very rewarding. I am still single and enjoying that as well.
School
I remember the beginning of security awareness, cameras and picture ids. I remember ROTC trips. I remember the guys picking up Steve S 's little Honda and putting it on the other side of the wheel stop by the portable buildings. I remember Botham revving up the engine of his red Chevy and spinning mud all over Tom and his car. Today I think that was a good thing. ; ) I remember beating Westside and working the concession stand on their side and wearing my Butler letter jacket. Fond memories!
Happiness: cannot be found in money, position, relationships, or places. Life is not filled with happiness every day and fairy tales are just that fairy tales. erienced love from my Jesus in so many special ways that it reminds me high school when every day I would happily say "I love you Steve" I love you Angela" and they would dutifully or maybe indulgently say "I love you" back.
But this past year, I have experienced true love in even greater measure. My father passed away with pancreatic cancer and the outpouring of love from so many friends from all over the world in such incredible ways, through the grace of Jesus, I am so overwhelmed and humbled. People I have only connected with thru the internet/telephone have shown me great compassion and gifts of friendship, that my wealth and happiness is in the richness of these gifts which only God could have given out, more than making up for the loss of my father who I will see again, children I have never had or the absence of a husband to share my life with.
I am blessed and it is my wish to bless others with the same love that was freely given to me.
