Life
Charleswood Collegiate; played in a band with Bob Knight which led to my love of music. Been with The River City Blues Band for 11 years playing bass and back up vocals.
Married (1st and only wife) with 2 kids living in Birds Hill. The boy Steve is 22 taking Commerce at the Asper School of Biz. speaks French and Japanese and some Spanish, ; the daughter Christa is a bartender/server at a local pub. My career; 27 years with CN as a rail traffic controller and Chief rail traffic controller; 5 years CN in Marketing. Left CN when my job was transfered to Edmonton. Became Installation Manager at Shaw Cable then bought my own computer store "Microtrader" on Hendrson Hwy. I sold the business and am now retired at the ripe ol age of 54 ... except for my musical endevours.
However I got tired of sitting on the couch so late in 2007 I took a job at the Sobeys in Birds Hill. I only want part time and I don't really care about the $8 and hour ... it's the entertainment and social interaction I needed. Having a great time on pension.
