Life It seems an eternity since high school, and life has been anything but dull. I was fortunate to be among the 15 graduates of Webb Institute of Naval Architecture in 1976. Not much of a place to work on social skills, but life since then has taken care of that! After graduation I spent a few years in the Washington D.C. area, but became bored with the work. The lure of good pay and interesting work was difficult to pass up so I migrated to Louisiana to work as an engineer in the offshore drilling business. I haven't worked north of I-10 since then! Worked until 2012 in Houston, then decided that the rat race was too much for me. I was first married in 1985, but divorced after 15 years. Two wonderful children resulted from that marriage. In 2001, I was blessed to meet my new wife, Cindy, and the family more than doubled by the addition of 3 stepchildren and a granddaughter. We also have a grandson who for some odd reason has named me "Boat". I wonder why! My daughter gave birth in January 2016 to the newest Castleman, Isabelle Grace, and she is the apple of my eye!
