Greg's Story

Signed up 2007 - Scroll down for updates - Life A long and sordid tale of dread and woe... But I will save anybody crazy enough to be checking from going through it all and getting depressed by not putting any of it here. Actually I'm still together with my `better half' after >mumble mumble< years and if you looked through the other bits here you would know that she is my best friend and still "gets my motor running" after all these years. Due to hard times we haven't started a family yet (Do you know how old I am ? And to have kids now ?!? Am I insane ?...oh...nevermind...) but we will very soon. Other than that I'm older, much wiser (not necessarily smarter though), and somewhat happy about things. My motto is "Could be better. Could be worse." It's all a matter of perspective and degrees. Really would like to meet some classmates and see how they are, and maybe get up the nerve to talk to those lovely "girls" that always made me tongue tied back then. (If only I knew a fraction then of what I know now...) Update June 2008 Started a new job in yet another warehousing position. So far it seems to be a good employer that values the employees. Started off skipping the probationary period and welcomed directly into the "dysfunctional family". Sounds like my kind of place. Now to try to catch up to the "fix it"s around the home. Update July 2...Expand for more
009 My better half delivered our first child on March 15th more than 6 weks early. Everything has changed and I think I'm happier, or I'm sufferring brain damage from lack of sleep. Either way things are changing fast. And those "fix its" are much more important. Update February 2012 Out of work again. Just not enough sales to pay for a full time warehouseman. And as the only one bringing in an income in the household things aren't looking too good for the near future. Never managed to make enough for those "fix-its" so they are still plaguing me everyday. A few are becoming serious enough that I will need to react to them soon whether I want to (or can afford to) or not. My son is doing great and makes living fun again. He still likes to have his "Daddy" around and to play with so I am taking advantage of it as much as possible. A new resident has moved in nearby and they have a son the same age so perhaps a new friendship for him is brewing. It would be nice for him to have someone his own age to associate with. But that's enough here about it all. - So I was a full paying subscriber here and didn't receive a single notice about the events that happened during the past year. Now I'm not paying anymore there is a BIG LIST of things that I never heard about. What the Hell is going on with this site ? For more updates I've posted in "Profile Notes"
