School
I enjoyed great friendships (in the "not-in" crowd -- the best people): Don Richardson, Don Lange, Lloyd Kelley, Floyd Kelley and, especially, Coleen Morganthall. Band was an important part of my high schoo...Expand for more
l life -- and sitting (virtually invisibly) beside the home coming queen in general assemblies was my teenage secret thrill.
College
College was all work. I used the co-operative education program to pay-as-I-went. I worked every other semester at LTV Aerospace on flight worthy F-8 and A-7 aircraft. My draft number (#355) and working at a military contractor kept me out of the military. I do appreciate, though, my friends and all who served in Viet Nam -- especially Robb Stall, who was killed there.
Workplace
Practiced engineering design and installation work until 1978 when I moved into semi-sales with Amana Refrigeration. After regaining my senses, I moved into facilities development work for healthcare organizations until 2000 when I had to retire because of a health-related disability after a massive systemic staph infection.
Greatest inspiration: His guidance in this life and the promise of eternal life from the free gift of God through Jesus Christ.
