Greg's Story
After forty plus years I find myself back in Oklahoma. I loved high school and I loved many of you as friends and missed you, but I went off Central State for a couple of years (flunked out) and then to the Navy without saying good bye to anyone. The only picture of me in the graduation year book is me sitting to the left of a Big White Bunny head at a morning pep rally (page 170) and I wouldn't have missed that time for anything. While in the Navy I met the love of my life. I didn't come to the reunion and never thought my life would bring me back here. We live in Ft. Gibson, and I'm active clergy at Grace Episcopal in Muskogee, now Mary-Margaret shares office space with me now in Wagoner. We have wanted to have a practice together for a long time.. taught for fifteen years at Cisco Junior College (it's very interesting to teach somewhere you have a degree from) while I worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, then tried retirement for about six weeks. Married for 41 years to Mary-Margaret, who is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Bacone College.
My work and my ministry are much the same. We have "raised" many wonderful young people God has placed in our lives and one of them has made us (Grandparents) a lovely set of twins (see pictures). Russell, our surviving biological child, lives in Austin and has been very successful. There have been some major mistakes along the way and I was kind of an jerk in High School, but I am very glad to be here. I now drive past Edison about five times a month.
