Gregg's Story
Life
After high school, I went to NYU and graduated in 1987 with a BA in Economics and History. Got an MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at NYU in 1991. In 1989 I married Karen and we have been happy ever since. In 1995, we had our first child, Joshua, who unfortunately passed away from a heart condition. IN 1997, our daughter Lisha arrived, quickly followed by Rebecca in 1999. Shane finalized our family in 2004. We now live in PA, after having spent 15 years living in central Jersey. We really like it out here, especially the low taxes, compared to the awful ones in NJ. I still work in NYC, ever since college graduation in 1987. I am a banker. From 1987 t...Expand for more
o 1994 I worked at Citibank (both in Manhattan and in Long Island City - famously known as the big green middle finger of Queens). Then from 1994-1999 at Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank in the World Trade Center. In 1999 I moved to my present job as President of 1st Financial Funding & Investment Corporation, a subsidiary of 1st Financial Bank USA. They too were located in 1 World Trade Center until 9/11/01. Thankfully no one in our offices or my prior company's offices were killed on that horrible day, but I did know several people who passed away on that fateful day, including a father of a child who went to pre-school with my daughters. I now work next to Carnegie Hall on 57th Street.
