Gregory's Story
Life
To talk about the life is to talk about the music. That's what keeps me centered along with family and friends. If there's one constant, it has always been the music.
Presently, I do percussion which includes any and everything that goes bump in the night. My playhouse is filled with conga's, bongo's, timbales, djembe's and all the toys. I'm usually playing out somewhere three nights a week and the styles can range anywhere from r&b , reggae, and fusion to jazz, classic rock and hip-hop. "Baby, it's a funky jungle out there". Don't get me wrong, the other side of equation is left to the family. Have been married since 1981 and have one daughter who is very special.
She just graduated from Bryn Mawr college in PA and continues to be a joy and a pleasure. Starting to explore other endeavors since I retired in May of 2003. Taking another look at photography and plan to do some trave...Expand for more

Workplace
My very first job experience began in the tobacco fields of Ct. during high school summer breaks. One of those 'been there done that and survived' jobs. " It wasn't just a job, it was an adventure. I met the nicest people and closest friends while getting my work ethic down. My very first long time commitment came in 1969 as a boys supervisor for the Hartford Juvenile Detention Center. Ten years later that evolved into Juvenile Detention Officer with the Ct. Judicial Department. Stayed on that particular job with the until 5/2003 when I retired. In the interim there have been other jobs I found fully gratifying and interesting. I worked in sales at a clothing boutique known as 'Bizarre East' in '74' and ended up changing my major from accounting to marketing.
I loved that stuff. Currently, I'm retired and exploring new possibilities and starting to enjoy just being.
