I lived in New York my sophomore year of high school. My mother was an exchange teacher with another teacher in New York. I attended Hauppauge High School on Long Island and had a great time once I made some friends after being in "Sound of Music". Back in Seattle at Ingraham, I was involved in band, stage band, choir, and soccer. I ended up playing soccer for 27 years and am a Seattle Sounders season ticket holder. I worked in technology for 41 years. After attending electronics school, I worked at Hewlett-Packard in Lake Stevens for 20 years where we designed and manufactured spectrum analyzers. I then morphed my career into IT working as a software developer and in application support. I worked at Snohomish County government for 8 years and then finished my career with 12 years at Puget Sound Energy in Bellevue. I felt that keeping the lights on and the homes warm for 2 million customers in the Puget Sound region was a noble calling for the greater good. My professional profile is on LinkedIn. I lived in Snohomish for 20 years. Since I worked in IT, I could sit anywhere and worked from my cabin on Hood Canal for 3 years during Covid.
