Gregory's Story
After graduating from Southwestern High School, I went to college at Mary Holmes Junior College, in West Point, Mississippi for a year. I left Mississippi after a year and joined the Air Force and served 13 years as a Law Enforcement Specialist. After Basic Training at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas, I was staioned at Bolling AFB, Washington DC, from 1980 - 1983, Clark Air Base, Phillippines. 1983 - 1987, Luke AFB, Glendale Az, 1987 - 1989, Osan Air Base, South Korea, 1989 - 1990 and Moody AFB, Valdosta, Ga, from 1990 -1992. Before I left the Air Force, I found Jesus and gave my life to him. I have been sober since April 1991. God has been very good to me. I got maried to a wonderful woman in 1993. I have 4 wonderful children. I am a bible teacher as well as student. I spend most of my Sundays teaching the word of God and spreading the gospel of ...Expand for more
Jesus Christ. I still work for the US Government and I am currently living in North Carolina. I wanted to become a Florida Hwy Patrolamn when I left the Air Force, but I believe I'm where God wanted me to be. My wife and I built a lovely 2 story 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bathrom home in the country. It is slow paced here, but a wonderful place to raise children. My wife is from a small town in North Carolina with one traffic light. Big city guy falls for southern belle. God has truely blessed us. Our youngest children (twins) are high school sophmores. My son wants to be a plastic surgeon and my daughter wants to be an animal doctor. I have only been to Detroit 3 times in the past 30 years. I am looking forward to reconnecting with former classmates from Boynton Elementary, Southwestern High, Mary Holmes Junior College and former Air Force security policemen.
