Gregory's Story

Gregory is from Yarrow Point, Washington. I will not state my Birth place, though proud of it. Gregory later attended Lake Washington Technical College, Kirkland, WA (Web Design, Web Development) , and ealier Bellevue College (General Studies) . Gregory's interests include Art, GIF, Most every type of photography since 1976, but mainly Landscape Photography; Walking, Hiking, Sking downhill and Cross country, Tennis, Sailing when a Laser when I have strong abs, working with computers and electronic goods when they are any good; SeaHawks, Sounders, Women Huskies Volleyball, web designing and especially me cooking around a camp fire camping with women. Music Gregory likes includes Instrumental Electronic Performance, Electronic Music, Electronic dance music but mostly instrumental. Books Gregory likes include Adobe Photoshop, Photography books, Non fiction books, Science Fiction, and Web Design magazine articles, if any. Movies Gregory likes include The Shining for it's interpretation of rich resorts all alone during off season like the Alpental Condominium I use to visit of my parents, Twin Peaks for the strange things we find in the country in Washington State, Forrest Gump, Driving Miss Daisy, Green Apples, among many others I've watched while having the premium channels. All the many more other movies I've watched for entertainment value when they all start to just blur together as the programmed way of living. I Don't really like watching Horror flicks but occasionally. TV shows Gregory likes include The Mentalist, NCIS, Man v. Food Nation, and the Good Wife. Internet music channels I subscribe to are e-music.com, mog.com and siriusXm when I can afford them. Magazines that I read when I can and subscribe too are Digital Pro, Outdoor Photography, Better Home and Gardens and the Smithsonian. Magazines I can't afford but like reading are Science Magazines, especially Science News. One of Gregory's favorite quotes is:Shakes Spear line when he speaks of the "tempest in the air", but at no time do I believe anyone should live by the voices and tempest out of the air. The only voice one should listen to is that of those who will be your witness. In other words I do my best to remember what others say and do, but my disability is most often that I don't. It was great when I could remember a full lecture of a classes and regurgitate on the test at the end of the week. I will remember what I read well and today that is what counts for me. So I believe in e-mails, blogs, but no twitter. Short comments that are not explanatory are often things I just don't want to read or hear. Most music counts, it usually calms me down, so often I will take quotes from music lyrics. But I'm usually original, unless I'm being politically minded then I will use old Political Phrases out of the 70's.". More about Gregory:"In 1968 My parents moved me from Minnesota to Bellevue WA., so I'm nearly a native since 8 years old. My first Elementary School was St Thomas Episcopal School in Medina. Next was Medina ...Expand for more
Elementary, from there I went to Three Points Elementary. My only College Prep School Was Overlake School in Redmond WA. I went to Many community Colleges through out the Puget Sound area from South Seattle Community College to Lake Whatcom Community College in Bellingham. I did attend University of Puget Sound for one year, but the education I got out of it was virtually nothing, maybe a lot of confused drunk. I received three AA Associates Degrees, One from Bellevue Comm. Coll. in General Studies and two from Lake Washington Tech. Coll. in web design and programming. Lately I've attended Seattle Central Community College and Shoreline Community College to study Photography, but alas my federal student aid finances ran out. Since I'm disabled with Social Security Disability, that was the only way through college if I couldn't carry a part time job while in school. A part time job with school is a big enough load for me and the employment world hasn't really been smiling at me since 2009. My last resort going on since then to today is to start my GBGH Photography business which hasn't been much success. I'm always available to take your interest in personal needs or institution photography, but there just not many ways to make a living in a very competitive market. I've had a business license since 1984, but never having an advertisement budget and now only the free ingenuity of the web do advertise. I know how much it really helps to do the advertising on Google when spending only $40.00 a month, but that is just an extra $40.00 a month when the kind folks who are calling don't pay attention to the advertising and my budget is tight. I'm not married. Bachelor all my life and proud of it. I do have a lot of competencies (like Architectural Drafting, 1990) and certificates(Like PC Technician in 1996) from many other Community Colleges, but they only amount to a lot of get smart motivational tools that really didn't lead to many jobs. I bought a three bedroom rambler in 2004 and owned it tell 2006, but my health just couldn't hold to the health. We didn't have the great things to help keep a house then like we do today. Been employed most of my life but the last years I've been doing mostly part time jobs, some full time jobs earlier in my life. My jobs where ranging of many things to make me a man of all hats, but mostly driving jobs when now I take the bus and I sold my car. See my full resume on LinkedIn and Manta. See my other profiles on Google, Plaxo and other various portfolios you will find by searching under my name on Google or Bing. Some private some public. The internet I have pretty much made my portfolio my way and you may find other things I've don by just doing that search. As of current date of 3/2013 I'm just getting by watching HDTV with an antenna programming and trying to do at home web work. I don't don't how long I'll be able to support the web. If no work or school, then I may very well be open for anything others would like to submit for doing .Thank you.".
