Life
Hello Friends, Greg M. here, wanting to reconnect with friends, family, peers, former students, fellow classmates, etc. Many new things have occurred in my life over the past few years. If we connect you can catch up with me and I can catch up with you! Blessings all... Greg
While at Northeast High School... I was heavily involved in the NEHS Band. I played trombone, became the sectional leader my sophomore year, Band President my junior year, then the first Anglo Drummajor my senior year 78-79. Very controversial at the time, had some difficulty from a small portion of African-American fans, but far more difficulty from the smaller Anglo community. A great year though, and am proud of all we accomplished!
In the fall of 79, after graduation, I went to Anderson, IN, to attend Anderson University. In December of that same year, my family relocated to western North Carolina, so I never really returned to OKC except for a rare short visit with friends.

I became professionally involved at the age of 19 with the Bill & Gloria Gaither Gospel Music universe, became a professional backup and recording vocalist, recording with many gospel greats in addition to the Gaithers, such as Sandy Patti, Larnell Harris, Steve Green, First Call, Camp Kirkland, Randy Vader, Jay Rouse, Rick Vale, Greg Nelson, etc. Also a few country greats like Janie Fricke and the Gatlin Brothers, etc. Also did a stint traveling and recording with the Johnny Mann Singers and Les Brown and His Band of Renown. Then a stint singing with the Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra and the Capitalaires Jazz Quartet.
Inbetween and usually at the same time, over the past 30 years, I've also pastored a number of churches in the states of Indiana, Michigan, California, Florida (Palm Beach and Miami for nearly 12 years), and currently in North Carolina.
In March of 2010 I went to work for Summit Hospitality/Hilton/Marriott. I am now Area Sales Manager of 3 major hotels in Wilmington, NC.
