Gregory's Story
In memory of Gregory "Greg" Wright (1954-2007)
Greg was a special man in many different ways. At home, he loved his family, June and children. Always making sure he provided a good place to live and teaching his son all about sports, etc. (baseball and football). He loved visiting his daughter and looked forward to being a grandfather. He loved carrying June on trips (Tennessee, Mexico, New Orleans, Memphis) and cruises (Bahamas). He did decide that there was more things to see outside of Missouri. When he was asked to come to Tennessee to visit June's cousins, he would say ¿I've never lost anything there so I see no reason to go there¿. So around about 10 years ago he started visiting some of June's cousins, found out that they were great cooks, met lots of friends there, so he did decide that there were things in Tennessee that he did like.

cared very much about. Greg would load some of these men up and would carrying them places where they would not be able to go without him. He had carried them to Branson, Smokey Mountains, camping, ballgames, and even to a circus. This took a special person like Greg to take care of and time to do this.
Greg loved the outdoors. His main goal was to get that big one, a deer, every year along with dad, uncle, and friends. He liked fishing and squirrel and rabbit hunting also.
He was so giving and everyone really enjoyed his company and hearing his stories. He was a very generous person. Whenever Greg was with you, he would take care of everything and would never take no for an answer.
He retired in February, 2007 from the St. Charles Habilitation Center thinking he would not enjoy not working, but quickly found that he did not have to fight the rush hour traffic anymore and could travel any where at any time he wanted.
In November, 2007 Greg passed away suddenly from a aneurysm/stroke.
