Greta's Story
Life
I'm a DINK. How cliche'. My life in a nutshell: I finally got married! September 29 to be exact. I married the love of my life for the past 3.5 years, Jon. Funny, we met in The WP Pub on my birthday and I definitely knew that night that we would be together for a long time. It could have been the Patron. eel so blessed to have known these three classmates since age five and I love spending time with them when I can.
Workplace
Oh my...from working in the telecom industry with 600 other people under age 30, from every continent in the world...better than college...throwing sofas off the balconies of executive housing and watching the Swedes switch from aquavit to everclear without batting an eye.
Thank god those days are over. Now I work for the Department of Interior's Office of Inspector General. I travel a lot...throughout our public lands to evaluate programs for fraud, waste and abuse. I go to Washington DC more than I ever thought I would, to brief senior officials and revel in the intrigue of politics. I love my job and it's wonderful to have a career where I get to use my brain, think analytically and write papers that make college research papers seem like marshmallows.
