Mira's Story
I used to be "Gretchen Grodt," but over the years my name ended up changing to "Mira Ingram."
I'm a commissioner in San Francisco on the Marijuana Offenses Oversight Committee, overseeing police and making sure they don't arrest people for marijuana charges.
I do policy work on legislation and initiatives regarding the rights of disabled and people who use medical cannabis on a local, statewide, and national level.

eless, low income, and don't have insurance to provide them with a necessary wheelchair, including disabled and elderly people on Medicare who are routinely denied wheelchairs due to Medicare's strict and irrational wheelchair approval standards.
I remember that one of the counselors in high school warned me that it would be harder for me to get anywhere in life with the weird way I dressed and did my hair. Well, I've spent most of my adult life sporting variations of a multi-colored mohawk, and I have managed to get by quite well despite all that.
