Life
Life Bio huh? This should take all of five minutes....lol. Let's see, after high school I went to business college where I took Medical Secretarial. After finishing college I worked for The Physioclinic for 3 years. Taking a break from the workforce I gave birth to my son Brandon, got married to Kenny Hughes, had my daughter Taylor and after 7 years of marriage, got separated. Worked at Convergys, shhhh...I know, I don't work there anymore. Decided on a career move...out of the house. Went to Akerley to take General Arts and Science, got top marks of the class (Imagine that) and will be starting Pharmacy Technology in September of 2005. Hopefully graduating, getting a great new job and a divorce in the new year.
School
Wow, well not like it would be any surprise to anyone I went to High School with, but my biggest crush was Brent Morrissey...lol. I guess the teacher that inspired me the most was Ms. Hunt. I would definitely do it all over again, never believed my parents back in the day when they would say "believe me if I could do it all over again I would, just apply yourself"...lol.
My happiest school memory would have to be my trip to England in Grade 12. Craziest would have to be playing hooky with Dedra to go to the fair, scrat...Expand for more
ching up my arm and walking into Ms. Rowe's class to tell her I just got back from having allergy tests done to find out I didnt have her that class (CAUGHT)....lol. Funniest would have been Ms. Hunt's english class, all of the role playing we did for the books we were reading, and playing a pregnant girlfriend of a sailor on a ship, waiting in the hallway with a pillow stuffed up my shirt and the looks on the faces of the passing students, who till that day didn't know I was "expecting"...lol.
College
Just finished General Arts and Science at Akerley, graduating top of the class. Entering NSIT in September taking Pharmacy Techology.
Workplace
Well my career arc started out at Happy Face Daycare centre. Working from 6am-8am and then from 3:30-6:30 every day through the week. Thanks to that job I got to go on the school trip to England. After high school, went to college, worked at K-Mart in Babies, Briefs and Bras. Went to work at The Physioclinic, working my way up from receptionist to Office Manager. Worked as a Domestic Engineer for 6 years. Worked at Convergys for almost two years, that being almost two years too long. Tutoring now at Akerley in Math, Biology and Computer. Hope to enter the work field again in 2005 at a hospital near you.
