Gwenn's Story
It has now been well over 60 yrs. since I left Blantyre School- completing Gr.7 & 8 at Courcelette School as was done at that time... After completing Gr.10 at Scarborough Collegiate Institute, left school to work at the Bell... married in '47 to George- have 2 wonderful daughters...continued working,mostly in sales,marketing,customer service, telephone work 'til '88 when I retired after hip surgery... widowed in 2000 -

up is half full)... Currently enjoy being able to drive, but plagued with lots of arthritis that makes walking uncomfortable...however, my handy dandy walker is a great help in doing what I want to do...
I would enjoy re connecting with some of my old classmates from Blantyre or Courcelette schools or Scarborough Collegiate as I still live in the general area...
I was known as a gabby sort... and liked to laugh - not very good at sports, but enjoyed stuff like classroom plays, and reading out loud...also liked spelling bees...
I was the only girl in the family with 6 brothers, so I was likely a bit of a tomboy...
