:"Started a new career 4 1/2 years ago working in the Drug Safety Department for a large biotech company in Cambridge. Company had layoffs in November but people left at 3 different times. My last day was March 31st. I am now working for a start up biotech company in Lexington, again in drug safety. It is for a 6 month contract. So far, so good. Contract just extended for 4 more months".
