Harlie Smith:  

Life After graduation I attended Fresno City College, then CSUFresno BA Degree Major:Mathematics, Minors: Business & Physical Education. I joined the Peace Corps in 1974 and taught math in Ghana for two years. In 1977 I started teaching at Clovis West High School. In the summers I taught Computer Programming at Fresno Pacific College. In 1986 I moved to Alconbury England and taught for Department Of Defense Dependent Schools. Since 1988 I teach Calculus and Computer Programming at Hoover High. I became department chair in 2000. I retired in June 2010. In 1999 I married Marcia Baziuk. We live in the Old Fresno High district and love to travel. We recently went to China in 2002 during Easter and Italy and Greece during the summer of 2001. In 2006 we traveled to Poland to visit Marcia's family on her grandmothers side.
