Harold's Story
Harold's schools include West Springfield High School, Connecticut School of Broadcasting, Lowell Technological Institute and UMass: Lowell. I worked for United Technologies Aerospace Systems, Goodrich Corporation, GE, GTE, Hercules Aerospace, Simmonds Precision, 3M, Linolex Systems, Wang Labs, WCRX radio and Hamilton Standard.
Since high school graduation, I have been involved in the development of computers and their software. I developed diagnostics at Wang Labs, word & data processor software for Linolex, developed customer specified software for 3M and moved to Minnesota for a couple of years. le working full time writing fuel gauging software for the aerospace industry. I was an evening instructor of computer courses at the Community College of Vermont for nine years. I have also developed embedded software that evaluates the vibration on helicopters and suggests changes to reduce the vibration. I am a co-author of three software architecture patents used in that system. I have also co-authored a paper on using flight data recorder technology in medical instruments. My most recent activities for United Technologies Aerospace Systems involved process improvement activities (monitoring, measuring, reporting and training) for both the project management team and engineering teams performing product development.
