Hal is from Chandler, Arizona. Harold's schools include Evanston Township High School, Lincolnwood Elementary School, Haven Middle School. Harold later attended Michigan State University (Pre-Vet Med, Partying, Gilrs), Lake Forest Adv Mgmt Institute (Business).

Worked for American Hospital Supply, Baster, Allegiance and Cardinal for 40 years and moved 13 times. Lived in Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, California, Northern and Southern and Arizona.
Have been a widower since 2002.
