Harold's Story
I am from Bakersfield, California. But now I live in California City. I moved here because of work. I stayed because my wife Janet and I just love the climate and the fact that our backyard is wilderness. After the unceremonious end of my time at West High School â I dropped out my junior year. ried my sweetheart Janet Riddle and began a 12 year career as a public school educator. I was not well suited to teaching so I quit and spent two years selling real estate at California City Real Estate until the bottom fell out of the market. I then returned to school at CSUB and in 2011 earned a BS in Geology. I now work at DHI Services Inc. as a well site geologist/mudlogger.
My current plans are to return to school once again next year to begin work on a MS in geology and eventually a PhD in geology.
