Harold's Story

I am an attorney in the Detroit office of a national commercial law firm that has 500 attorneys. I fight over money for a living as a commercial litigator. My claim to fame occurred in 1999-2000 when I was President of the National Bar Association, which is the Bar Association founded by African-American attorneys in 1925 when we were not allowed to join the ABA. I was in law school at Duke. She is a physical therapist with the Detroit Public Schools early intervention program working with babies up to 3 years old. We will have been married 30 years this summer. I have 2 children, Daman, 25 and Ebony, 20. We were coming to the 35th reunion but Renay's brother was honored as practitioner of the year by the NMA that night. Hope all had a good time.
