Updated August 12, 2009 For the first time in twenty+ years I have no dog(s), but I have an ex-male cat, Midnight (all black except for a white spot on his chest) who wandered up to the front door as a kitten in 1999 (guess he knew a "softie" when he saw one). I'm retired - spend much of my time with my grandsons, communicating with old friends and family, doing genealogy, reading, writing (a novel?), and making messes (according to the family). After Robins, Lincoln, and Stonewall, I went to WVU where I earned a BS in Economics and spent a year in Law School and another in Journalism School. I learned a bit about programming computers, and met then married Jeanne Arbogast, who was born in Hundred, Wetzel County. We met when she was a staff member and I was a student worker in the WVU Medical Center Library. She was my boss, and still thinks she is. I got a computer programming job and was soon drafted (this was during Vietnam). I joined the Navy and spent two years each as a programmer at PAMI CONUS (Bainbridge, MD) and BuPERS (Arlington, VA). Our children, Geoffrey and Sarah, were born while I was in the Navy. Both are intelligent, motivated, hard-working, and have PhD degrees.
