Harry's Story
After graduating from Ballard I enrolled at the University of Alabama and majored in earth science graduating with a B.S. degree in 1968 While there I received an R.O.T.C. scholarship and was commissioned a 2nd Lt in the Army serving for about 7 years on active duty and remaining in the active reserve until I retired as a Col. in 1993 after Desert Sword. ollege and received a masters degree in earth sciences and another masters in psychology. I taught at a community college for many years, went back to college again and worked up to ABD in psycholgy. I retired from teaching college in 2003. my last year was at Troy University in Alabama. I currently live in Alabama most of the year. The rest of the time I split between my cabin in North Carolina and Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
