Harry's Story
Life
Was born in Dodge City KS on March 19 1947. Lived in Dodge City until 1955 and then moved to Kinsley. Attended St. Nicholas Grade School and graduated the eight grade in 1961. Attended Kinsley High School from 1961 and graduated in 1965. Attended Dodge City College from 1965 through 1967. Then attended Wichita State University from 1967 to 1968.
In 1968 moved to Denver CO. While in Denver worked in the consumer finance business until 1975 and returned to my true love the automobile business.
In May of 1976 married a female co-worker from a Lincoln-Mercury dealership. This marriage lasted for twenty-seven years ending in 2003. My x-wife was pr...Expand for more
evious married and had an eleven year old daughter when we married. Always considered her as my daughter and as such she had my three grandchildren, (two boys and one girl.)
I now have three great-great-granddaughter's and a great-grandson on the way They bring one of the greatest joys to my life.
My Father died in 1978 and my Mother in 2005 and thus my ties to Kinsley have mostly been severed.
I was a found member of Mary Immaculate Catholic Church and also attend St. Anthony Catholic Church. Am also involved several civic originations and have been very active in State and Local politics in the past.
