Harry's Story

I left Saltfleet in 1960 to join the Canadian Navy, in which I spent 3 years. After my release I worked at Norton Grinding and Abrasives for approx 1.5 Years and then I began my 40 year career in the Elevator industry...Installing..repairing...and maintaining elevators. I married Cathy McKeen in 1964 [still married] we lived in Toronto for about a year and a half and we had our first daughter in1965 [Kelly] she is a graduate of University of Guelph...honors B A. We moved back to Hamilton in 66. Cathy became an Imigration Officer and was transfered to Guelph, so we moved up to Guelph and we still live there. Our second daughter Mary-Jo was born in 76.....yes 11 years apart [she was planned too] M-J also graduated with BAs, in Education and BA in Arts from University...Expand for more
of Lethbridge. Both of our girls live in Alberta [don't ask] with their families........both have a boy and a girl. I retired in 2004 from the elevator industry partially because of illness and also I thought 40 years was enough. Cathy left the Gov't in 76 and later became a Real estate agent for approx 15 years and now is partially retired while working part time at Metro Store. I am fairly active in many venues......Royal Canadian Legion, golfing, fishing, and gardening. I have been trying to get a hold of my old pal Louie Kwiatkowski, with no success, can anyone help me get in touch with him or bring me up to date with his life? If anyone is interested in getting in touch with Cathy or myself.......well I guess I can't leave my email address after all
