Harvey's Story
I am a graduate of Loyola High School and Loyola College (now Concordia University). My next five years were spent in the education field with the starting up of Dawson College and then with Carleton University. I have an incredible daughter who currently lives and works in Toronto.
I subsequently founded my own direct marketing company (based in Canada with offices in London, Paris and Mexico City) from 1985-19998, after which I was very fortunate to have been able to retire. Between an awful lot of traveling and a life of constant migraines, I was very happy to do so. Our Head office was in Toronto and, after retiring, I relocated to Montebello, Quebec and am now in Ottawa.
I married the love of my life, Lynne Freiburger, over five years ago. She is originally from Iowa (we met while she was located in Connecticut) and, in addition to being gorgeous, she is a doctor and a very talented pianist, not to mention beautiful, most charming and very intelligent. She is also now proud...Expand for more
ly a landed immigrant of Canada.
We bought a home in St. George, Utah and will be spending our winters there from now on. There are six national and state parks within three hours of St. George including the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon and Snow Canyon. They are amongst the most beautiful places on earth to hike and Bryce Canyon is where Lynne and I got married. I did extreme hiking and a lot of photography there for some twenty years but am now relegated to regular hiking. I am also an avid art collector. In addition, I have had the questionable infamy of having died/been accidentally killed fourteen times.
Of the classmates whom I have seen of late are John Rakos, Bob Czerny, Mark Starowitz and Tom Montague. Another old classmate with whom I spent much time with is Terry Cherry who very sadly passed away two years ago after an incredibly courageous fight with cancer since 1996. Another with whom I have exchanged many emails for some years now is Gail Moran.
