Hayat's Story
Life
Hello everyone..............:)
I am now Hayat Muneerah (Ali) Whitfield. Of course you all know that I graduated from Murray Wright in 94'. Well, after graduation, I went straight to college at Wayne State University in the summer of 94'. My mother bought a house on campus so it was cool living on campus and being able to walk to class. I met my husband at Wayne State when he transferred there from Kent State on a basketball scholarship in the Fall of 95'. I knew immediately that we would end up together but we had our ups and downs but found each other at the end. Our son Daniel Edward was born November 23, 1997 and I graduated May 4, 1999 with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. I married Edward R. Whitfield on March 31, 2001; we got married in a little wedding chapel (just the two of us). My second son, Xavier Jonathan, was born on February 18, 2003. We bought a house in March of 2004. I finally had my last child (I was wishing for a girl but you get what you were meant to have) and had another boy, Justin Weldon, born August 11, 2005. I'm done, unless I hit the Mega Millions, and than I plan to try for that girl one more time. I can honestly say that I am happy where my life is at right now and continue to work with my husband to make sure it only goes up, up, up.... Unfortunately, I hate my place of employment but I'm happy to have a career with the way the econ...Expand for more
omy is right now. :) I miss those Murray days though............I had soooo much fun and have so many great memories. I hate that I missed the ten year reunion but it kinda crept up on me. I still keep in touch with Latise Bell and Monica Moore and see Chanda Barnett from time to time. I hope that everyone else's life is turning out the way that they planned or something close to it. I can't wait until the next reunion because I will make sure that I am there this time.

School
I can't say I had a biggest crush as every guy that I liked during those Murray-Wright years, I ended up dating at some point or another........life is good, isn't it?!
The teacher that inspired me the most would have to be Mr. Olinzynski (?spelling?) and Mr. Polk (ROTC).
Of-course, I would do it again, and again and again....I can't say that I enjoyed everyday at Murray-Wright but it came close and even the bad days have become memories that has helped me be me so how can I complain.........what is meant to be will be.
Overall, I enjoyed those years and I really liked the person that I was in high school. I did not discriminate against anyone and knew just about everyone. I can honestly say that I will never look back and regret the way that I treated anyone because I treated everyone with respect.
I am so very pissed that they are closing our school though...MW will be missed.
